1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Caribbean Pass service ("Service"), operated by Caribbean Pass ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Caribbean Pass provides a digital tourist pass that grants holders access to discounts, free items, and special offers at participating partner businesses in the Cayman Islands. The Service includes a web application for purchasing passes, discovering partners, and redeeming benefits via QR codes.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. Pass Purchases & Payments
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
- Passes are available as 7-Day or 30-Day options. The pass becomes active immediately upon successful payment.
- Prices are displayed in USD and include any applicable taxes.
- All sales are final. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
5. QR Code Redemption
- QR codes are valid for 60 seconds after generation and are single-use.
- A 48-hour cooldown period applies between redemptions at the same partner location.
- You must be within proximity of the partner location to redeem benefits.
- Benefits are subject to partner availability and may change without notice.
- QR codes are personal and non-transferable.
6. Partner Benefits
Partner businesses independently determine the benefits they offer through Caribbean Pass. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but we do not guarantee the availability or quality of partner services. Partners may modify or withdraw benefits at their discretion.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Share, sell, or transfer your pass or QR codes to others
- Use automated tools to interact with the Service
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or rate limits
- Misrepresent your identity or location during redemption
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caribbean Pass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or anticipated profits.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, any active passes will be cancelled without refund.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
